"HPDE" ENTRANT REQUIREMENTS

1) In order to register for the "HPDE" course you must have completed at least one of the following:
a) One Cascade Sports Car Club Driver Training within one year of the date of the course. Example: March 19, 2010 Track Day - must have taken a Cascade Driver Training between March 19, 2009 and March 18, 2010.
b) One Driver Training approved by Cascade Sports Car Club. Please contact us to see if the school you have taken is approved.
c) Three open track days in the last two years. Example: BMW Club, Audi Club, Porsche Club, Lotus Club, etc. Must provide this information in the "Personal Information" portion of the application. Certificates, log books, etc. may be required as proof of completion.

"HPDE" Course Track Rules:

1) Passing is allowed on the front and back straights only. All passing on the front straight may begin at the first cone and all passing must be completed prior to the last cone. Faster cars will pass to the right of the cones. All passing on the back straight may begin after turn 8 and must be completed prior to the "shutdown cone". Faster cars will pass to the left of the slower car and may only do so when pointed by.
2) Safety is our primary concern. This is not a competition event nor is it a timed event. Following distances should be far enough that if the car in front of you has trouble or spins, you have adequate time to react and avoid the incident. If you are observed to be following too closely, you will receive a furled (rolled up) Black Flag. Every spin, or two wheels off course, or passing outside of the "passing zone", will result in an unfurled (open) Black Flag. Every Black Flag must be acknowledged by means of a wave to the corner displaying the flag. Immediately after receiving an open Black Flag, you are required to report to the pits and talk with an official. Your day will come to an end after you have received two open Black Flags. **NOTE** - two furled Black Flags will equal one open Black Flag.
3) There will be a Mandatory Driver's Meeting. Flags will be covered along with other information pertaining to the day.
4) See Driving School / HPDE requirements for additional information
