CASCADE SPORTS CAR CLUB PRESENTS:

The 2013 “Driving School” and “HPDE” (High Performance Driving Event) Courses
Bring your street or race-prepared car to our ICSCC approved Driving School or our HPDE. Safety is our primary concern and a good helmet is required. Cars will be inspected before being allowed on the track. Open cockpit cars (convertibles) must have an approved roll bar and seat belts. Convertables with "pop-up" roll bars are not allowed. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
Have your driver’s license ready to show at registration.
Please read “SAFETY REQUIREMENTS” for further information regarding the Schools and HPDE’s.

The "Schedule" pull down menu under the "Driver Training" heading (how you got here) list our schools.

It is easy to entry one of our events; go to:  https://www.motorsportreg.com/ , search for Event type ' "Driver Schools", within 60 miles of our area code = 97229.

CONVERTIBLES: Convertibles are defined as cars with retractable tops, whether soft-top or folding hardtop. Convertibles are not allowed to participate in Schools or HPDE events without a rollbar and a 5 or 6 point harness for each occupant. The use of a rollbar must meet the minimum requirements: The top of the rollbar shall be a minimum of two (2) inches above the top of the driver's (and passenger's) helmet. A plane drawn from the top (not including padding) of the rollbar to structural parts of the chassis in front of the base of the windshield shall pass over the driver's (and passenger's) helmet.
**Note** - Approval of a roll bar is not a certification of a roll bar's safety or its ability to withstand the stresses of a roll over accident.

Convertibles with Pop-Up rollbars are no longer allowed.

For more information on convertable roll bars standard go to Convertable Roll Bar Standards
